TRAC releases Analysis of and Proposed Modifications to the Bus Route Changes Proposals to Take Effect in 2008.
TRAC has proposed three heavy rail (subway) alignments for the Red Line. Each alignment, while grade separated) has a significant fraction above ground to reduce construction cost.
If you want the MTA to study these alignments or consider heavy rail, click here to sign the on-line petition to "Require the MTA to study Metro Subway (heavy rail) for Baltimore's Red Line."

Please attend Baltimore Red Line Citizens' Advisory Council meeting on Thursday 13 December 2007 at Edmondson High School.
We are the new voice of transit riders in Baltimore. Just formed in December 2004, TRAC stands up for riders and fights to build a better system.
A 12 mph surface light rail Red Line is not an improvement or a benefit to Baltimore - we deserve better. A Metro Subway line would average about 28 mph!
