TRAC has conducted several studies of the regions transit systems. These reports are available here.

TRAC analized the MTA's 2008 bus route changes and writen a report commenting on and proposing modifications to the bus line changes. See our Analysis of the Proposed Modificaitons to the Bus Route Changes Proposal to take Effect in 2008.

TRAC has updated its comparison of MARC travel usage measured against the parallel interstate highways. See our report that finds MARC carries up to 20% of the peak corridor demand during rush hours.

A Comparison of the Number of Travelers Riding MARC and Driving I-95 and MD-295 found that in the I-95/MD-295 corridor between 5:00 and 9:00 a.m. between 10% and 20% of the southbound traffic in the Ft Mead area is on the MARC train.
A Comparison of the Number of Travelers Riding Baltimore's Metro Subway and Light Rail and Driving I-795 and I-83 found that between 6:00 and 9:00 a.m. 13% to 17% of the traffic in the I-795 corridor southbound past the Owings Mills Station is on the subway while only 3% to 5% of the traffic in the I-83 corridor southbound past the Mt. Washington Light Rail Station is on the light rail.
