MARC
Welcome to the Transit Riders Action Council's MARC web pages. We plan to use these pages to activate the MARC riders to work for better MARC and transit service by making our voices heard by the political system. We plan to approach this on three fronts: rider education on the current constraints that MARC faces, requesting MARC riders to speak up when there are "quality of life" issues (such as delays), and speaking up with a loud united voice to demand capital investment for expanded capacity. We plan to reach MARC riders in two ways, through this web site and by an Email list service to which will be posted occasional announcements requesting rider action. We hope that you will sign up for the Email list service. We promise to not share your Email address with anyone (except as required by law) and not to fill your box with excessive Emails: perhaps a few Emails a month. This effort is sponsored by the Transit Riders Action Council of Metropolitan Baltimore, which is working for better transit of all forms in the Baltimore region. However, the MARC system is a single, state wide system and we plan to treat it as such. We hope to gather riders from all three lines.
